Daily car washing startup CleanseCar has raised INR 3.5 crores in an angel round of funding from venture capital investment platform Venture Catalysts. Rishabh Mahimtura, Anil Patel, Vishal Brambhatt and Omphalos Venture India are some of the prominent angel investors from the Venture Catalysts network who participated in the funding round.
The fresh capital will help the Bengaluru-based startup to accelerate its growth strategies and expand services to more cities in the country. Founded by Kalyandar Vinukonda and Pratibha Shalini this year, CleanseCar offers car cleaning services to its customers at their doorsteps at competitive market prices.

It provides environment-friendly waterless car washing services to customers leveraging the use of technology with its mobile app. There are different packages available based on different car models including services like wet and dry cloth wash, interior vacuum cleaning, dashboard and console cleaning and tyre/rim cleaning.
Talking about the investment, Apoorv Ranjan Sharma, Co-founder and President, Venture Catalysts said, “Daily car wash is one of the basic requirements of consumers in urban areas and this service is not always easy, affordable or reliable. CleanseCar is disrupting this high-potential segment by introducing standardisation and the use of technology.”
Earlier in September this year, CleanseCar raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from angel investor Dhianu Das. The startup currently operates in Bengaluru and Chennai and plans to roll out to other major cities of South India in the next year. Major competitors to CleanseCar includes Gurugram-based Carpathy, Bengaluru-based Pitstop and Mumbai-based Refreshed Car Care.
