Pune-based cognitive automation startup Zestl software has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a pre-series A round from Lead Angels, Eagle10 Ventures and Contrarian Vriddhi Fund. Investors like Gemba Capital, Genesis IT Innovations, Omphalos Ventures, Rothschild India MD Sanjay Bhandarkar and former E&Y Indian national director Sunil Chandiramani also participated in the funding round.
The startup plans to utilize the freshly raised capital to improve its sales and marketing team and enhance the products. The startup will also expand its operations globally and launch in the United States in the next six months.
“Existing SaaS (software as a service) collaboration solutions fail to automate enterprise processes end to end. The gaps end up killing user adoption and as a result RoI (return on investment). Zvolv gives users applications that are highly customized to specific business processes” said Prashant Pansare, co-founder, Eagle10 Ventures.
Founded by Hardik Gandhi in 2015, the startup claims to have 25 clients including the global quick-service restaurant chain firm Domino’s Pizza. It also boasts some of India’s largest retailers and FMCG companies like Future Group as its clients. Hardik is a Stanford alumnus who had earlier worked with Apple.
Zestl has designed Zvolv, a platform to automate and add structure to chaotic people and data-centric collaboration processes. The platform helps drive organizational efficiency and speed up the time to market a product or service. An application on the platform can be created within a few days with almost no technical knowledge.
