Hyderabad-based camera tech startup DreamVu has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from early-stage venture capital firm SRI Capital. The startup will use the freshly raised capital to strengthen its technology and boost its marketing.
Founded by IIIT Hyderabad alumnus Rajat Aggarwal and Rohan Bhatial in 2017, the startup provides an Omni-stereo camera hardware and software platform to bridge the gap between human and machine vision.
The proprietary technology used by DreamVu produces high-quality images that can be used to provide augmented navigation capabilities to autonomous robots. DreamVu’s products can be used across industries including drones, virtual reality, augmented reality, autonomous vehicles, robotics and healthcare.

With bases in the United States as well as India, SRI Capital invests in sectors like consumer technology, deep technology and enterprise software with ticket sizes ranging between $500,000 to $3,000,000. The venture capital firm has invested in startups like LetsMD, Shubh Loans, FabHotels, VideoKen and Foyr in India.
