Chloe Bridgewater, a seven-year-old kid living in Hereford, UK has a little more interest in Google than average kids around you. Fascinated by her tablet and playing games, Chloe decided to get a job at Google when she becomes eligible.
In a letter to Sundar Pichai, Chloe wrote that she wants to work at Google and enjoy the work culture. Especially bean bags, fancy chairs, go-karts and slides at Google’s workplace attract this seven-year-old-girl. Her father Andy shared a copy of the letter with Business Insider.
Isn’t it cute? Right? Well, imagine her joy when she received a letter back from the Google’s CEO himself. Yes! Sundar Pichai replied back to Chloe Bridgewater through a letter.
Andy shared the letter from Google in a viral LinkedIn post. Sundar encouraged her passion for technology and computers, adding “I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school! :)”
In that LinkedIn post, Andy Bridgewater writes that it’s a much-needed confidence booster for Chloe, who was “knocked down” by a car years ago.
Currently, Mr. Bridgewater works in sales for a refrigeration system parts manufacturer.
“And I said, ‘oh, Google would be a nice place to work,” owing to their world-famous perks and all of the cutting-edge work they do, he says. And so, when Chloe decided she wanted to work there too, her father encouraged her to apply and “get the ball rolling,” he says.
Bridgewater says that his daughter now wants to go on TV and talk to the media and use that to find some way into the Silicon Valley-based search company.
